The new project is the first book of a new historical novel series, with Judith already gaining traction for her efforts, as evident by the endorsement by Author’s Tranquility Press.
Over the years, several stories and narrations have emerged about the four Imperial Grand Duchesses, often painted in the light of being sheltered from the world. However, there is more to the interesting life and times of the Grand Duchesses, especially in relation to their seemingly private lives. Unfortunately, these facts have remained unknown to millions of people across the globe, at least until the emergence of the works from Judith Welsh, as seen in the Last Waltz: Book I.
The first of the book series introduces readers to the untold stories of how Mikhail Yakovlevich Malama, a pilot in the Russian Army, got married to Grand Duchess Tatiana and subsequently escaped to ensure the true bloodline continued after he was sent from the front to work directly for the emperor.
Last Waltz offers a unique perspective of Russia’s old monarchy and the resilience of Tatiana amidst different obstacles, including the possibility of battling PTSD, anxiety disorder, other adversities, and even death.
Judith Welsh aims to share the courage of Grand Duchess Tatiana of Russia with the world, who remains an inspiration to her as she hopes that others would find motivation in her story. The decision to write the book series was birthed after Judith’s retirement.
