Proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) is a strategy that utilizes the ubiquitin-protease system to target a specific protein and induce its degradation in the cell. To address these problems, a protein degradation strategy based on the PROTAC technology has been developed to target BRD4 recently. These BRD4 PROTAC approaches have shown great potential for reducing cancer cell viability, opening a new direction for the discovery of anti-cancer drugs.
