Julie Buckman is the reigning Mrs. US Nation 1st Runner Up titleholder. The yoga business owner and model has been in the modeling industry since she was 15 years old. Julie was inspired as a young child by the brilliant fashion designers Gianni Versace and Calvin Klein. She admired Cindy Crawford’s grace and beauty as a child and aspired to walk the runways one day! As a teenager, her dream came true. Julie walked in various fashion shows in her teens.

She then studied modeling at the John Casablanca Modeling Agency and taught runway there as a young adult. Julie went on to study in Miami, FL for an inclusive week of fashion and modeling training prior to college. Julie is a mother of 2 precious kids. Julie began her journey with Miss US Nation pageants after being casted and selected to represent the state of South Carolina at the national pageant in the Mrs. category. She had the honor to model with her daughter, Lily Buckman; who is the reigning Miss Nation 2021 titleholder.

At the national pageant, Miss US Nation; Julie’s preparation and dedication to the title brought her to the Mrs. US Nation 1st Runner Up crown. With her title, Julie plans to utilize it to help further her modeling career, participate in more runway exhibitions with Super Chic Fashion Week, and hopes to inspire women that beauty is timeless. Julie believes that the modeling industry is a collective celebration of beauty, creativity and passion emerging in the subtle glamour and honor of representing the fearless artistic talents of the brilliant fashion designers. Having the honor to walk the runways modeling their gorgeous designs speaks for itself.

In 5 years from now, she hopes to inspire women that you are never too old to dream and to be an example of strength and encouragement that beauty blooms from within. “I hope to do this through my modeling career as well as my yoga/mindfulness business, Jewelz Yoga. I want to be a beacon of light to the world and shine love and happiness throughout our world”, says Julie.
